When the rider reaches the highest in the stairs they enter the Start Barrel which protects them from any exposure to slipping right until They may be safely and securely linked to the Zip Line by a seasoned and experienced operator. As soon as the operator opens the rotating safety gate the rider is then capable to choose that leap of religion!
